  Each service is packed with so many great things straight from the Bible broken down in an easy-to-understand way by Pastor Barnett. Every week I leave humbled by how great God is and challenged to know Him better. The size of the church is initially intimidating but they offer many smaller groups (LifeGroups) that makes it much easier to get to know people that you have a lot in common with (for us, parents with young kids). Before long you feel like you are part of a great family that supports you without judgment.

  I attended Calvary most of my life. I left some time ago due to the politics and because of the way they treat people. The people are nice but feel fake.

  Sermons are heavily historical, not much application. Feels a bit more like a college class than a sermon. Music is ok, nothing super inspirational. They do have an awesome brass section that makes an appearance now and then, tho. Kids program IMO is their best feature... my kids love it and that's why we continue to go. Just wish I was getting better fed.

  For a large church, they really have figured out how to still feel connected (if you try, ie going to small classes, not just the large service). Our family has enjoyed attending here for 15 years. This is the only church our three children have ever known! :)
